Easily one of America's most influential rap-rock bands, Limp Bizkit are set to travel to NZ to rattle cages and release their golden cobra on NZ ears. With Spotify tracks recording over 80 Million plays, there is every reason to expect crowds of loyal fans and solid mosh pits. Since reuniting in 2009, lead singer Fred Durst and his crew have kept on rollin' releasing a new album in 2011, followed by screeds of new (unpublished) material to-date. With over two decades in the music scene, Florida based Nu metal band shows no signs of slowing down and continue to tour the globe. Apart from the departure of DJ Lethal in 2013, we can expect the full original line up (including famed Les Borland) on stage at Storm the Gates Festival.
Sublime With Rome
Despite only one original member left, Sublime with Rome have built a massive kiwi following. Having visited NZ in 2017, the crowd favourite has made a swift return. Their ska punk style and infectious on-stage presence is about to make you a long time fan (if you weren't one already). Despite being only 29 years of age, californian based Rome Rameriz has built a reputation for creating crazy vibes and honouring crowd demanded encores. The ska-regae experience they deliver is undeniably catchy and is going to make this night very memorable.
Thrash metal band Suicidal Tendencies is going to put on one energy packed gig. These famed fathers of 'crossover thrash' are known for controversy and noted to be outspoken for their views. Their sound is fuelled by origins in hardcore and punk and was a major factor in the creations of skate-punk. With more than 30 years of experience up their sleeves, these veterans continue to douse crowds with uncompromised independence and musical ferocity. Their latest set-lists reveal that the band are just as intense as ever! Get ready to be sweaty with one of the most defining band of our generation.
