Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson 2018 Speaking Event All Set in Auckland

Up the irons, Iron Maiden fans!  Fearless front man, Bruce Dickinson strikes again, this time turning up the heat in Auckland, New Zealand where fans are anxiously on a hot pursuit to get the best seats in the house for his up and coming “What Does This Button Do?” book tour.  Dickinson is slated to appear on October 16, 2018, at The Cordis Hotel (formerly the Langham) here in Auckland.

Bruce Dickinson is touted as one of the greatest rock vocalists / frontmen of all time, specifically for his stint as the lead vocalist of the iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden.  His wide vocal range, signature quasi-operatic tenor, and his ferocious energy and stage presence, made him a shoo-in to take over lead vocal chores from Paul Di'Anno. He officially became part of Iron Maiden in 1981, and was introduced via the 1982 album “The Number of the Beast.”  As pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal movement, Iron Maiden has sold over 100 million copies of their albums worldwide, and are considered one of the most successful heavy metal bands in history.

Being a singer, songwriter, musician are just some of the facets of Dickson’s myriad of talents and pursuits.  His career resume also includes airline pilot, entrepreneur, fencer, author, and broadcaster.

Dickinson takes the bull by its horns with the release of his autobiography, sharing recollections on his 30 years with Maiden, the early days, going solo, flying jets, and his recent battle with tongue cancer.  

This speaking event promises to be an up-close-and-personal encounter with the man himself as he delivers excerpts from the book, hold a Q&A session, plus an inclusion of a signed copy of the book for ticket buyers.
